The verdict is the County of San Diego’s posted status for each station — open, advisory, or closed. The county decides the posting, not this page.
The number is the latest sample: DNA copies per 100 ml by ddPCR. The county’s action threshold is 1,413 — validated against San Diego beaches as the ddPCR equivalent of California’s Enterolert standard. When a station is falling, we project roughly when it crosses that line. A clean sample is what gets an advisory lifted, so the projection leads the posting by a day or two. It’s a trend fit, not a promise: sewage spikes arrive with little warning.
